Davide Staedler obtained a Master's degree in Medical Biology and Pharmacology at the University of Lausanne (Faculty of Biology and Medicine, 2010) and a PhD in Medicinal Chemistry at EPFL (2014). Davide Staedler follows both an academic and a private sector career path. Since 2009, he has been managing the company TIBIO, specialised in scientific consulting in chemistry and biotechnology, which he founded during his studies in biology. In parallel, from 2015 to 2021, he was scientific director of Scitec Research, one of the most important analytical laboratories in Switzerland. Passionate about industrial applications, he is a board member of several life science start-ups. In 2021, he founded Frattale Group, a holding company with interests in companies in the field of biotechnology, green chemistry and food-tech. In the same year, he founded Daxtachem, a green chemistry and scientific consulting company based in the Principality of Monaco.
In parallel, he is also a Privat Docent in Pharmacology and Toxicology at the Department of Biomedical Sciences of the University of Lausanne as well as a lecturer at the Faculty of Biology of the same university, where he teaches entrepreneurship applied to biology and industrial biotechnology.
Fiorella Lucarini graduated cum Laude in 2015 in organic chemistry at the University "La Sapienza" in Rome. She obtained a PhD in chemistry at the University of Fribourg in 2019. During her PhD, Fiorella Lucarini worked on the development of catalysts for the production of hydrogen as a renewable energy source from water and sunlight. Her results have been published in several articles in international peer-reviewed journals. In 2019, she joined TIBIO as a scientific collaborator working mainly on consulting in the field of environmental chemistry, development of analytical methods for the detection of polluting compounds, and development of new technologies in the environmental field. Since 2021, she has been project manager at TIBIO and head of chemistry at Daxtachem, where she is involved in the development of various projects in the field of green chemistry and consulting projects.
In addition, Fiorella Lucarini is involved in the supervision of Master's theses of students at the University of Lausanne. The research she follows and supervises concerns the biomonitoring of children's exposure to emerging pollutants such as bisphenols and phthalates.
Emmanuelle Boisard obtained an engineering degree in Earth Sciences, specializing in Hydrosciences, Hydrogeology, Hydrology, Geophysics, Environmental Risk and Geology from Ecole Polytech' UPMC - SORBONNE in Paris in 2012.
Sensitized to environmental causes, she devotes her career to the ecological transition with 11 years of experience in the private sector of waste treatment and recovery, in the Var region. From 2012 to 2017, she was in charge of managing industrial development projects, including the coordination of environmental impact studies. From 2017 to 2023, she was in charge of operations at a biopole for the recovery of inert waste and biowaste.
In 2024, she was appointed Environmental Engineer for DAXTACHEM SAM, a green chemistry and scientific consulting company based in the Principality of Monaco.
Guillaume Boisard graduated in 2020 from the Industrial Systems Engineering School - EIGSI La Rochelle. He graduated at the top of his class, and his generalist academic curriculum was based on various fields of study including research, design, industrialisation, production, operation and marketing.
As a high-level athlete in Olympic sailing throughout his training, his dual academic and sporting project gave him the open-mindedness and maturity necessary to become involved in environmental issues. After three years of specialisation in the fields of energy and the environment, he continued his training with a second master's degree in business engineering. This additional training enabled him to acquire the technical, commercial and managerial skills needed to manage projects.
With 3 years of experience in the environmental sector, he now positions himself as a rigorous environmental engineer, capable of both investing in the research and innovation process and getting involved in field studies.
Carlo Scarlata obtained a master's degree in Aerospace Engineering from the Milan Polytechnic in 1999 and was then officially qualified as a professional engineer. His final degree project took place at the EPFL in Lausanne, Switzerland. He then obtained an honourable mention at an MBA at 'Instituto de Empresa' in Madrid, Spain, in 2010.
He has more than 20 years' experience in top poitions in the world of electrical and telecommunications cable manufacturing, having first covered the most important industrial roles, such as Plant Manager, and later held positions in Business, both nationally and internationally. In recent years, he headed Prysmian's Italian operating company, sitting on the Board of Directors.
In the meantime, he has also held other positions, such as Chairman of the Board of Directors of Metel, a supply chain software house, and then for six consecutive years President of the Italian Association of Cable Manufacturers, ANIE AICE.
